If you are looking for a large and comfortable minivan, either to carry your family around or just for cargo, and you don’t see the use of an SUV, then the Chrysler Pacifica 2021 and the Toyota Sienna 2021 are two excellent options, both starting at around $35,000 MSRP.
When talking powertrains, the Chrysler Pacifica 2021 comes with two powertrains. You get the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine, with 295 hp and 260 lb*ft of torque as the singular engine choice. However, you can have it as a standalone unit coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission, in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Or you can get the same engine coupled with two additional electric motors and have a plug-in hybrid, with 260 hp and 236 lb*ft of torque from the engine alone. Still, it will feel nippier because the electric engines aren’t taken into account. All of these are coupled to an eCVT transmission in front-wheel-drive only. The Toyota Sienna has only a singular powertrain option. A 2.5L I4 with 186 hp and 175 lb*ft of torque with two electric motors and batteries to be used as a regular hybrid. This platform comes with an eCVT only, in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive format.
On the interior, the Chrysler Pacifica 2021 comes with all the expected features. Cloth seats as standard with leather seats on higher trims. The latest infotainment system from Chrysler and FCA group, with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth capability, comes standard. You can get either a central DVD Player so everyone can watch shows during trips, and screens for the rear passengers. All the safety features are available (parking sensors, cameras, park assistance) and many other comforts and styling options.
Owners and users enjoy the Chrysler Pacifica, usually praising the handling, ride quality, and overall comfort, both to the front passengers and rear passengers.
If you want a car for both town driving and extra-urban driving, the Chrysler Pacifica 2021 is a fine choice, seeing the engine choices and outputs, which are superior to Toyota’s figures, all while maintaining a pleasant experience Whether you are in Plainfield, Indianapolis, Avon, or surrounding areas, come on over to York CDJRF of Crawfordsville, where “We’re not #1, you are!”

Government 5-Star Safety Ratings are part of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s New Car Assessment Program (www.safercar.gov). Model tested with standard side airbags (SAB). Starting with 2011 models, NHTSA has introduced tougher tests and rigorous new 5-Star Safety Ratings that provide more information about vehicle safety and crash avoidance technologies. Because of the more stringent tests, ratings for 2011 and newer vehicles should not be compared to ratings for 1990-2010 models. Overall vehicle score and frontal crash ratings should ONLY be compared to other vehicles of similar size and weight. For more information go to www.safercar.gov
